The 10th international "Policies against Hunger" conference will be held from 10 - 12 June 2013 in Berlin. It will revolve around the question of how the standards and principles described in the "Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the context of national food security" can be applied in practice.

The animal welfare label will enable consumers to easily recognise whether food has been produced according to animal welfare standards that are significantly higher than the minimum legal requirements.
