State Secretary Dr. Robert Kloos assumes office

Dr. Robert Kloos was inaugurated as the new Permanent State Secretary by Ilse Aigner, Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection. Aigner wished the new head of administration success and strength in carrying out his duties. "We are looking forward to working together" Federal Minister Aigner and State Secretary Kloos stated in front of staff from both the Bonn and Berlin offices.

Dr. Robert Kloos is the successor to Gert Lindemann, who had held the position of head of administration since 2005. Aigner thanked Lindemann for his committed work and expressed her appreciation for all he had achieved, in particular in working out the agricultural policy.

His successor Dr. Robert Kloos held a number of positions in the Ministry of Agriculture between 1989 and 2004. In July 2004 he became President of the Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food (BLE) in Bonn, which has a staff of approximately 1,000 and carries out a range of activities in the remit of the Ministry.
